I live in woodbridge and i was looking for a place to take my family for ice cream. My friend lives in port reading and he suggested that we try the local ice cream store. I asked him if he ever went there before. He said no but he was willing to try it. So me, my family and our friend when there. At first we thought that the place was closed because it was dark and there was barely any lights. When we got inside the place was empty, when i assumed was the owner came out to take our order, she was impatient and rude. Once we got our ice cream and were about to leave my son bit into his ice cream and chipped his tooth on an ice chunk that was in the ice cream. I complained to the owner about this and all she said that she can't help that my son has soft teeth. I asked what she was going to do about it. She told me nothing. You bought, no refunds. I asked if she was the owner and she said yes. I told her that i would never come here again. Two days later, i had to take my son to the dentist for him to fix his tooth. Long story short. A trip to the ice cream shop costed me $550.00. I will never go there or recommend to anyone. I called the board of health to investigate. The ice cream had ice chunk, it smelled and had no flavor. The owner wasn't wearing gloves nor did she wash her hand or the scoop she was using. The floors were not clean nor were the equipment. What a bad mistake. BEWARE, go there and take your health in your hands.
