You've seen the ads, "build your own burger". They make you think you can have it over 32 some odd thousand ways. When you actually visit this proverbial burger-lovers heaven, you get the standard menu and cashier. No actual buffet of condiments to apply yourself, NOTHING. Only a sign saying there are 32 some odd thousand combinations, but the menu says NOTHING about this.
In fact there are value meals with pre-created burgers on them. All with cute -something-a-burger names attached. But NO mention of what to DO or how to build this burger you came all the way for because of the TV or radio ads.
SO I ordered and they asked me what I wanted on my burger. I said what comes on it? They told me and I asked. "But I thought we were supposed to build our own burgers here, that it was SO Different from any other burger store. What's the deal with that?" and they said "Oh all you do is tell us how you want it.".
HOW FREAKING DIFFFERENT IS THIS FROM ANY OTHER BURGER CHAIN!? I can go to Burger King or McD's or Wendys and Ask for it my way and guess what, I GET IT! So HOW THE HECK is this store getting by on these mirepresenting commercials that build this idea that you go in there and run down a huge list of options and customize a burger all of your own? THIS DOES NOT EXIST AT ALL.
Do NOT BE FOOLED! They are capitalizing on something you can do anywhere, and exxagerating it, blowing it into an ENTIRE life-long AD CAMPAIGN and its ALL NOTHING special in ANY WAY.
In fact, one could easily go there as I did, all ready to make my OWN burger and misread the menu entirely, and order some pre-concieved burger meal and NEVER hear a word about customization. This is WRONG. The entire ad campain is ridiculous and full of LIES.
What needs to be done is they need to have a condiment bar, give you a bun and the meat and LET YOU DESIGN your own burger, just like it INFERS in the freaking commercials. But NOOO no such way. You can't even put how much of what you ask for on, they do it for you. THIS IS A TOTAL bait-and-switch and should be SHUNNED and BOYCOTTED until they give us what they CLAIM in their commercials.
It's one thing for ads to exxagerate something about their product, but to totally make a HUGE career out of something that is non-existent and based off a very simple concept you can perform ANYWHERE (asking them to make a special burger).
Big deal people.
This place is a sham.
