I use to be a loyal customer of this company's products.in December I purchased several cans of Glory Seasoned Greens, from a local Walmart Neighborhood store in Horn Lake, MS.
I prepared a couple of cans of the greens for Christmas/New Years. After serving my family first I then prepared my dinner.
Upon eating I found a huge cricket in my serving of the greens. This discovery was after about three fork fulls. I was unaware or just plain in denial that the object was indeed a cricket so I inquired with my boyfriend his opinion; without telling him what I thought it was.
As I turned away from my boyfriend while he examined the object, the first words out of his mouth in an uncertain, questioning tone was that the object did not look like a cricket.
I became hysterical, as I knew he was lying. I stated to him that I never identified what I thought the object was. At that time we both agreed.
Thereafter I called the company, but could not get past the gate keeper. My objective was really just to inform them of my discovery.
I feel the least they could do was take the remaining cans off my hands. I then contacted the BBB in Columbus Ohio to try and get them to intervene. Well they didn't do anything, nor was the complaint included in their report as they deemed it an INFORMATION ONLY COMPLAINT.
If I could... I would sue the pants off of them. As they don't care at all. I will never eat another product from them again, and will tell everyone I know about the possibilities of insects in their food.
