On October 29 at between 1800 and 1900, I ate at Mimosa Restaurant in Renton, WA. My meal was the worst I ever had. I sent it back the first time and even after that, it was so terrible, it was completely in eatable. I still paid the bill, even though I shouldn't have. I noticed when I was going through the bank statement last night, not only was I charged once for the worst meal I ever ate, I was charged twice, one amount $27.87 and the second $32.87 (the correct amount with the tip).
I went back today with a copy of my receipt and they wanted to see a copy of my bank statement before they would refund the amount of the incorrect transaction. I told them that the meal was so bad, I shouldn't have had to pay for it once, let alone twice. I called my bank to report the incorrect billing practice. The bank said that I am not required to show or give this company a copy of my bank statement under any circumstances.
