My parents and i went to get our dinner at popeyes. We ordered a family box, sides of mash potatoes, with gravy separate and mild chicken. I also order 4 pieces of chicken; 2 legs and 2 wings for my father. Recently having a kidney transplant he likes the chicken mild and eats the chicken only not the skin. He for sure needs mild. As we ordered i asked the girl to repeat it and she did, all was correct.
As we entered the window to pick up the chicken they asked if we could pull over, they had no mild chicken ready, it would take 5 min or so. After waiting almost 10 minutes (fast good forget it) they handed me my family box and i asked if it was mild or hot and she told me mild, i open the box and it was hot... Then waiting longer they gave me my fathers pieces and only two were in the box, when they should have been 4 pieces. It was a total mess. They were actually laughing 3 girls and guy... I could not belive it. They gave me a new bag and i checked my dads food it was finally ok. We went home. Don't you know when i opened my family pack the chicken again as hot... I could not believe it. I threw it in the garbage and cooked eggs for my family... It was a complete joke... I love the chicken but their employees, this not being the first time also, are terrible.
I was humilated and laughed at... I called my father because if he ate hot chicken it could have really hurt him... He told me his was fine... Thank goodness... We won't be going back anytime soon... That is for sure...
