I went to Burger King in Lapeer, Michigan, and ordered a chicken sandwich, a Whopper and the new fries. When I got home and went to eat, by the end of my sandwich I noticed something red on the bread. I do not use ketchup, so I looked closer and saw a thin, bright red substance that seemed to be blood.
I called, and they said to throw it out and they would get me a new meal. I took a picture and called the district manager. She said she would fix this but never did. I sent the picture to her insurance agent, who in turn said I am a liar, even though he saw the picture. He said it is not their policy to send a person to be checked for blood-borne pathogens like hepatitis or something, and that was the last I have heard from them.
This corporation has no compassion for the customer. They do not care; they think they can fix anything by offering a free meal. A month later I am still wondering whose blood it is and whether it had anything I could have contracted, since it is possible I ingested some.
