Refused to refund money for product I did not order or receive - Cashier Natalie S. - wake up wrap combo

On a visit to this location on 11/24, I noticed my receipt had a item on it that I did not
order or receive but was charged for. I brought this to the cashier attention who explained she could not refund my money for the error. She told me the store manager was not at the store and did not allow the employees to give refunds even if they make a mistake. I was outraged that she rang me up for something that I did not receive - AND - refused to give me my money back. I called the police who came out to the store and informed me they couldn't do anything about the situation because it was a civil matter and not a criminal matter. I felt totally violated, how can you just take my money and refuse to give
it back. Because of the lack of customer service the situation escalated to the point that I started using profanity towards the clerk. I no longer wanted any or my order and asked for a complete refund. After spending 40 minutes inside the store arguing with the employees and disrupting business I finally received my refund. There policy of overcharging customers and refusing to refund them for ANY reason is unethical if not illegal. Also, they need to employ people who know how to deal with customer issues.
This is not my 1st negative experience with this business location.in the past they have messed up my order. However, I will not longer frequent this business after my last visit.
