Among the items I purchased was a half gallon of milk. The cashier put it in the SHOPPING bag horizontally. All the cashiers in this store pack it that way. I usually correct them, but did not notice this time because a friend came up while I was checking out.
When I got into my lighted home, I noticed that the shopping bag had left a trail of milk. I checked my car seat and found a big wet milk stain on the passenger cushion where I had set the bag. I don't know whether the stain can be removed. I tried to sop up the milk from the cushion. I'll check it in the morning when it's light. I went back to the store, but it was closed. I tried to tell the person I assume was the manager through the closed door what my problem was. But the only response I got from him was "CLOSED!"
WHY DO THEY ALWAYS PACK THE HALF GALLON MILK IN THE BAGS HORIZONTALLY. I'm certain it is not shipped to your stores horizontally. Do you think there may possibly be a valid reason why they do not ship it horizontally??? Is it a braum's policy to pack milk in bags horizontally, or is it just this store manager's training procedure? If so, please have him correct it immediately. I was a supermarket manager at stop & shop decades ago, and packing milk horizontally in shopping bags would not be tolerated at stop & shop then.
