I called in my order for take out. I ordered a Cowboy Burger medium and specifically told the order taker to make sure they leave off the lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle (the garden). I'm allergic to pickles. She repeated back my request. When I peeked in the box before I left and it looked ok. But when I got home and pulled the burger out of the box I found all "the garden" items on the burger and the burger was cooked well and crispy on some edges. I called the store and the manager adamantly told me the order was checked before sending it out and that I was a liar. He did offer to replace it but by then I was 30 miles away and not able to return. I requested the charge be credited back to my charge card and was flatly told they could NOT do that either. Telling me I'm lying is unacceptable and this coming from both the manager and general manager who swore the order was inspected and sent out as requested. This Jeff Asst Manager kept putting me on hold for long periods of time. I guess hoping I'd hang up but this only made me more determined to get resolution to my satisfaction. Never once was an apology given or even an "I'm sorry this happened". They just continued swearing I was wrong. So tomorrow I go back in town and will be bringing all "the garden" items they "swear" I didn't get back to the store. Staff lying is not acceptable, own up to the mistake, make the customer happy and want to return. I'm not any of those.
