At approximately 8:00 pm tonight (9/11) I visited the Burger King on Campbell Avenue in Lynchburg, Virginia. At first I didn't even think they were open because there were NO cars in the drive-thru, NO cars in the parking lot, and NO customers inside, SERIOUSLY. I went inside and ordered a Large Whopper with cheese Value meal with NO PICKLES (specifically) and onion rings. After waiting some time for my order (because the onion rings had to cook, they weren't even hot from the deep fry), I settled down to eat. I was mortified and livid because I had just paid between $8-$10 for a fast food meal and the Whopper was LOADED with pickles!!! I told the clerk about it and she gave me a blank stare. I told the manager I would NEVER be back. It will be my mission to advise EVERYONE I come into contact with to stay away from Burger King. You cannot even imagine the countless times I've ordered sandwiches where I have requested something with or without and... The sandwich or burger was made the STANDARD way. The clerk didn't even pay attention when I was ordering specific things. If I wanted to go this route, I would have gone to McDonald's or somewhere else. Tonight took the cake. They only had O N E order to fix and they couldn't even get that right. I guess my order interrupted their non-stop conversations with each other. What I am also outraged about is that I have a low immune system and I very well could have been DEATHLY ALLERGIC to pickles (which I'm not, I just don't like the taste). It was a horrible meal and a horrible experience to say the least. I hope their parking lot and the rest of them stay empty.in this economy, they will all go out of business fast.
