My roommate works at a McDonalds and her shift can be anywhere from 8 to sometimes 12 hours and she only allowed a 15min break. All employees there only get 15mins. Hows is that legal?
When asked she was told that's their policy. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't the law if you work over 8 hrs you must get at least 30 mins or more for a break.
If anyone can help please let me know! I think it's wrong and since most of the employees are young I think McDonalds is taking advantage of them!
