My four year old son and I went to McDonald's store number 2433 this morning at 9:30 A.M. This store is located at 3313 Cleary Avenue, Metairie, LA. 70002. I ordered my food from a distracted and impatient cashier, her attention was drawn to something at the drive thru window and not on us (no smiles either). I received my food, the Sausage Egg Mcmuffin turned out to be cold but the breakfast burrito and hashbrowns were hot. We went into the play place area and after a few bites of the Mcmuffin my son took off his shoes and began playing. After a minute I see him through a window in one of the play place pipes and he is holding something in his hand. I motion for him to come down. He climbs out of the tornado slide and walks over to me holding a used bandaid in his hand. It is then that I look around and notice the play area is extremely dirty with trash on the floor. I brought the bandaid to the morning manager, a tall African American lady. She was disinterested in what I had to say about the play place and the bandaid I was showing her. She made a one line comment about the cleaning crew having missed it, immediately turned around and walked away with saying anything else.
I walked back to the play area listening to the employees laughing and I called the 800 service number to file a complaint. I feel that the professionalism is completely lacking in the store.
