I am speaking of the two McDonald's I visit. White Bear Lake at the County Road E location, and the other next to the Maplewood Mall, both in Minnesota. The last two times I ordered an egg McMuffin I had to wait for the orders since the queing area in front of the registers was filled with milling customers not knowing quite where to place themselves while waiting to get their orders. Well when the sandwich came it wasn't hot nor fresh! Do these things come frozen and then set out to thaw and warmed up to serve?
