Poor customer service, rude manage

At approximately 7:45 this morning, I attempted to order breakfast at a McDonald’s located at 335 8th Avenue. There were 3 or 4 cashiers waiting on one person each with no line, one other customer and myself. When a McDonald’s employee said, “next, ” I turned to the guy next to me, and gestured for him to cross in front of me to go next. Then, I went over to the next available cashier and began to order. The McDonald’s employee looked right past me, over my shoulder and said, “What would you like? ” to a person who had just arrived.

I went home and phoned this McDonald’s, asking for the manager. When she got to the phone, I asked for her name. She said, “Is my name the problem? ” Then she asked for my name. I told her my name and then asked again for her name.in an aggressive tone, she repeated, “Is my name the problem? ” I told her what had happened. She asked for the name of the employee that refused service. I told her that I didn’t get the employee’s name; “Why would I know her name if you aren’t even giving me yours? ” Rather than apologizing, the manager returned to the issue of her own name. I told her that she was being rude. She grew more aggressive and loud, so I explained that I was extending her a courtesy before calling corporate. She continued to scream, so I explained that I would have to hang up.

I hung up at 7:59 am and phoned McDonald’s corporate. After hearing the problem, corporate asked for my name, address and phone number so that the local MacDonald’s could contact me. I told them that I did not want the local place having my contact information because I am afraid of them. I asked rather, for corporate to get back to me about it. They explained that only the local store could handle this.

Something is entirely wrong with this process. Would someone in corporate please get back to me about this problem? Please do not give my contact information to the local McDonald’s. Frankly, if a less patient person were to encounter this same problem at that McDonald’s, I think things could escalate disagreeably.
