Collection Agency Hangs up on you!

I have never had an account with the creditor they claim I owe money to.

One year ago they started sending me statements. At that time I contacted them and they told me it was a clerical error and they would fix it. I was told this would not effect my credit rating and all was resolved.

Last week I recieved another statement from them, same thing. I called them and they hung up on me 4 times yelling in my ear and saying "What part of what I said do you not understand?".

All I was trying to do was get someone to do their job and listen to my story.

When I did talk to someone they told me I had to google their client to talk them and fix it on my end. They refused to give me a contact number and hung up on me again. I found their client online told them my story, they looked me up and told me that it was a clerical error at Source Receivables end.

These people are just amazing. How do you keep a job that you are unwilling to do? How do they ever collect money from real debts?

This does show up on my otherwise perfect credit and I am extremely upset about it.
