From the time Fairbanks took over our loan it has been a mess. We can not get through to a live person without being an hold for at least 30 minutes or more. They have added edless insurance from home owners to disability. Charged us late fees and say once you are late they are authorized to send a sub-contractor to your house to take a picture to make sure you are still occupying the home at 110.00 a drive by per month. When trying to pay off late fees no one knows where the money has gone. I cannot read the the loan payment history they send and neither can my accoutant or lawyer. They put payments in some kind of slush fund so it looks like you have not paid the full months and can assess late fees and all other fees what ever they are.
They said in July when they sent are payment back that it was not the total amount due because the previous payment had been returned. I have June's cleared check from the bank. After edless effort of trying to reach someone I hired a lawyer. It took 2 hrs before he spoke to someone and was given to someone else who had a dead voice mail. He has made numerous phone calls sent tons of letters, he has gotten absolutly no response. They have now published our house in default and our trying to forclose. We are all hard working people we do not deserve to have our basic foundation taken when we make every effort to make it go the right way. We have five kids and are hard working good people. We have tried to refinance and can't get out. They have made a huge negative credit report.
