Litigation Law Group solicited me by having my mortgage bank name on the front of a letter marked "New Hamp Benefits".initially, I thought it was from Wells Fargo, my present mortgage holder, so I called. I told them I had tried unsuccessfully to refinance/modify my loan with Wells Fargo. They told me they could help me since I was current on my mortgage with the Hamp program. I sent a few documents to get started to Tim Slater. He called me back within a day, congratulated me and told me that I was eligible for a balance reduction and rate reduction. An email from him was sent to me on 8/15.
He stated at that time that he was sending me a list of documents that needed to be sent back. The list included several personal documents along with the instructions to forward $3500. Which would cover all expenses pertaining to my case. Reluctantly, I did so. He gained my trust as well as the company. After sending the very explicit documents and my money, I tried to contact Mr Slater and I was told he no longer worked there he had left abrutly They forwarded my file to a Leila Hammod in which she requested more documentation. I sent the documentation to her. She emailed me back and told me my file was complete and it was being transferred to processing.
As of 9/24, after countless calls talking to the receptionist, Vannessa I finally insisted on talking to someone regarding the status of my case. George? Came to the phone and told me he needed some more updated information. He told me he was emailing me as we were speaking to give me his personal email address and the updated documents that he needed. I have yet to receive any email from him.
