I hired Consumer Tax Relief well over year ago to assist my with over $200,000 in tax problems. I was a truck driver owner/operator for a few years and had no idea the tax burden that it was going to put on my and family. I have 3 kids and my wife and we we borderline homeless when we first hired CTR and i agreed to pay them $9000 to relieve me of this stress. I had payments in thirds and borrowed the first payment and sold the last of everything we owned to get this paid off in fear of what the IRS could do.
A few months ago they said there wasnt much they could do with the liability. We have had to move in with extended family, my wife is contemplating suicide over this whole mess and I myself am finding it not worthwhile to get up in the morning. I asked for a refund and they basically said the $9000 was for all the work they did, which was nothing. After many heated conversations, I told them my wife was in danger of killing herself and they even said thats not their problem and good luck. With this company I have lost complete faith in humanity and I hope i can at least bring help others not fall in their trap.
