My experiences:
Hanna got a judgement against me. I paid via bank draft until their end expired. It took 4 weeks to finally get someone on the phone. I had left messages on many voicemail boxes, with no return call.
I get Mr. Walsh on 04/24 via the phone and make a payment, reset the bank draft and discussed an early payout. I specifically told him I would see what I could do re: the early payout, but until then, just keep on drafting it out of my account.
He did NOT re-instate the draft on his end, and I began calling again. I tried to pay online 3 times and have screen shots of the error messages. I tried emailing, the addresses on the website would bounce back "user unknown-rejected... Permanent failure".
I printed those off as well. I put aside every single payment they were due, to prove I COULD pay the original judgement, they were just not available for payment. There were 4 payments, I have been begging to pay each month, leaving messages everywhere and crying to the operator..."just take my payment"
After several more days of trying to reach them on the phone, I finally spoke to a receptionist after the 9th call of the day and she told me I was under a garnishment. I called my local courts and they said nothing had been filed and I would get notice when something is, so I should just calm down...*yeah ok*
I spoke to an attorney who said, go ahead and mail the payments as he felt sure they would accept them. He too insisted I would get notice that something was happening, and until then there was nothing to traverse (block) so stop worrying.
I dropped the check in the mail that day (return receipt requested), they got the check and deposited it the next day (withdrew their 300.00) and 2 days later froze my bank account, taking over $1700.00 from my account.
I spent some time tracking it down as they did not file locally, they filed in Magistrate Court in Dekalb County. I live in Oconee county 1.5 hours away. I got in the car and headed to Dekalb County Magistrate Court House. I filed a traverse to stop the garnishment and gathered subpoena's required to prove my efforts.
I will have to pay to have Hanna served as the "agent" of the company is usually the one that needs to served. Guess who the agent, CFO, CEO and Secretary is for Hanna??? Frederick himself. I don't need a stalking charge eh? *lol* So I will let the police get that subpoena served. Sure hope they record those calls like they threaten they do *lol*.
I am headed to the court house locally to file a motion to enforce the original court order locally. No attorney and is costing me a fortune trying to offset the bank account freeze.
They have coerced me, they have embarrassed me, they have tortured me emotionally, they froze my account and those of my children as they have my name on them too.
They were NOT available for payment, I did NOT breach the original agreement and my phone records and their recorded calls have been subpoenaed. I will update unless I just give up and drive off a cliff.../ Why won't folks just leave me alone yes? / joden
