My husband and I bought a house in September and were financed through Sebring Capital. Within a matter of months, we were sold to Homecomings Financial. We were represented when we bought our home by a lender who did not return calls, messed up the paperwork and overall made a mess of things (our realtor had to leave the table 7 times to call him).
We were contacted by a man, several months ago from Homecomings - saying he was a person we could contact with questions. On numerous times, we called and left messages only to never hear anything. Finally, due to my husband being laid off, we were forced to move across country. We luckily listed our house, sold it quickly and were at closing when we found that due to selling our home 27 days before having it 3 years, we were being hit with a $4,900.00 early pay off clause. Even calls from our lender, our realtor - nothing would get them to budge. As a result, we may lose the new home we are trying to purchase
