This morning has been a real eye opener for us realizing we are not the only ones being treated unfairly by Ocwen Federal by stumbling across the reports submitted from others who have been deceived
by this "bank". Unfair business practices: You bet!
It took two years of requests in writing to get a loan activity report, now we know why, our original mortgage amount has continued to climb instead of decrease, we are required to pay an escrow amount even tho we don't have escrow with them, our payments are taking 10 to 19 days to clear, now they have sent a a default although all payments have been made, asking for over 3,000.00.
Charges that aren't explained so we have no idea what it's for. It's impossible to talk to anyone at the number provided, messages remain unturned. Several letters sent for no mortgage payment received, we're tired of being harrassed. Our original loan was not with them and after three different banks we were not notified they were our current mortgage co. We have no contract with them and do not received payment coupons. Also I have writtn several letters for a differnt payment date with no response.
Is there ever going to be an end to this? We have lived in this house for 20 years and the thought of losing it after all this time and not being able to sell when we planned is devastating!!! This needs to stop now!!!
