National City Mortgage & Aurora Loan Services, Inc
Lehman Brothers Holdings More creative ways for corporations to ripoff you off and take your home... & Nebraska

We purchased our home in June. National City Mortgage Company was the initial lender. We had no problems with them until we applied for a home equity loan with a lender in our area.in October of we were served with forclosure papers from Aurora Loan Services indicating that we were 2 payments behind and they were initiating foreclosure proceedings.

Having never heard of Aurora Loan Services, we contacted them. That is when we were told that our loan had been sold in June and it was now October.
National City Mortgage Co. Continued to accept our money and even went so far as to cash a check for 2 mortgage payments and never record it. That was the 2 payments that were missing.

National City and Aurora Loan were provided with copies of both sides of all checks for the lenght of the loan..
Aurora Loan never opened the package, they sent it right back to us.

National City Mortgage wouldn't talk to us after that.
I'll spare you the last 3 years of red-tape. 2 bankruptcy attorneys, the first attorney did such a poor job that the judge dismissed the first 2 filings for bankruptcy. #2 attorney did a fair job until we were served with the sheriff sale. He never did show up.
The sheriff sale was filed after we were approved for refinancing with another lender. We have been waiting 4 months for a payout amount. Both Aurora Loan and their attorney Codilis and Associates will not return the lawyers, mortgage broker or our phone calls.
We have until Sept. 1st to finalize the financing or we loose the house.

Good country we live in, where else can you steal from people and have our legal system help. Kind of makes you think...
Has anyone considered a class action suit against these people?
