Due to outstanding credit cards, Mary Jane M. Elliot filed a judgment against me in late November. I not only was unaware of these things at the time, but was not notified prior. They then garnished my wages, which came out of my Michigan State University paycheck. After I paid this judgment off, they then neglected to file the appropriate paperwork with the Civil Division at 54-B Court in East Lansing Michigan. I have called the law firm several times, at 248-306 and been told that the paperwork was mailed over. All they need to do is simply fax something to the courthouse and a person in the Civil Division will take care of this. This is remainging on my credit report as unsatisfied and hurting my credit, and the ability to sign a new housing lease as well as obtain a loan at the bank. This should be illegal, and the fact the company states they have tons of clients and can't be bothered by individual cases is unetihical, immoral, and they should be punished for this. This is effecting my life, and I have paid off this debt. They need to do their part on their end and ensure they send correct paperwork.
