Select Portfolio Servicing in Jacksonville, FL are liars and cheaters who have no compassion. Apparently changing the name from Fairbanks Capital has not helped their image.
They never once advised me that I was late on any payments and sent me a demand letter stating I owed them over 1900.00 which is a lie. I actually owed 196.00 in late fees and because of their letters and phone calls decided to call to set up payments and was advised that they will not apply anything but the full amount of the demand to my account and if I sent anything less, it would be returned to me. I tried to send an extra $400.00 and was told, that they did not want that.
Someone really needs to do something about this company!
