David Antonelli is my cousins husband and when I began looking for a house I was refered to him by my cousin because I have less then perfect credit. I was told by David that through the purchase of a Shelf corperation he could get me HUNDRED OF THOUSANDS of dollars if I gave him $5000 dollars up front. He told me within 60 days my initial investment of $5000 would be turned into $450,000 to $500,000 and I would be able to use $100,000-$135,000 of that to buy my home and the rest would be used to loan his other Clients money for rehabs. I reluctantly told him I needed to think about it and I needed some time to come up with the money. A few days passed and David was calling me to see if I was going to do it and I said yes BUT I only had $3500. He said he would make it "Work" with that since I was his cousin and that we would just take the remaining fee out of the $75,000 initial funding order. I borrowed $3000 from my father and used $500 of my savings to start the process. A week later David called asking for the other $1500 of which I did not have and explained to him he told me not to worry about it since I was "family" I came up with another $1000 and promptly called to pay David what I had. He was happy to take my money even though it wasn't the whole $1500. After 30 days I asked how things were looking for funding and was told the Corp was purchased in Davids name (with my money) but I should be looking at houses because we were 30 days from having funds. 30 days passed with no funding even after several conversations with David. Then the matter of the final $500 dollars came up and that being the reason why there was Nothing done (wait I thought the corp was purchased?) so I asked for a refund. I was told that after the broker came back from vacation he would issue a refund. Well 30 days passed with no refund and more excuses from David about how he was not gonna ask for the refund from his broker because he didn't want to damage his relationship with him (I'm your wifes cousin dude) so he said he would pay me back out of his next closing (which never happened I guess) I am now 10 months past the day I gave him my money and have niether a loan for a house or my $4500 dollars. I would avoid this man and his company like they were common criminals because I feel as though he ROBBED me of my $4500
