First of all, this is still ongoing process. I signed this
non-cancelable lease contract for POS machine with LFG. The conditions
are so ridiculous and so expensive. I sent a cancellation letter within 7 day
after I signed the contract.
In the contract, one of the clause (Clause #23 Ability to
opt out.) gives you a relief from getting out from the contract without any
cost, if you notify them by certified mail within 7 days.
Now they are telling me that there is no way to get out of
this contract. The tactics they use from my many phone conversations:
-They tell you that the contract date is different than what
actually is.
-They tried to scare me with notifying to Credit Rating
Bureau
-They told me that they did not receive the mail. (make sure
to send it by a certified mail with Receipt confirmation)
-They told me that they received my mail but they received
it very late. (Receipt Confirmation is
a proof)
-They say there is such no such clause in the contract.
(still keep ignoring this clause) (Clause #23 Ability to opt out.)
Now I need to find a way how can I send my POS machine with
proof of that it is still in good condition. I am pretty sure they will tell me
that this machine is not working.
