On November 8, our house was sold at a trustee auction sale in Las Vegas, Nevada. The sales price was sufficient to cover the outstanding balance of the 1st loan on our house with Bank of America, N.A. And have an excess amount of $7,381.89. The excess amount of $7,381.89 was to be applied and posted to a 2nd loan aka HELOC held by Bank of America, N.A.
To date, Bank of America, N.A., has not posted the proceeds from the sale of our house to either loan. Bank of America, N.A., has reported the HELOC has a charged off account to the three major credit reporting agencies. The fact is: If Bank of America, N. A, would post the $7,381.89 to the HELOC retroactively to November 8, the HELOC would be current. We do not understand the delay. Over 4 months have past, and Bank of America, N.A., is still dragging their feet.
