For the third time in 12 months Kohls has failed to send a statement, then call demanding payment plus a late fee. The first time around I chalked it up to my oversight of an email notice and paid at the store I person including the $35 late fee. I could find no email from kohls so I changed my billing to snail mail. Second time this happened I complained directly to the store manager, again in person. I was given the explanation that the charges I had made probably were billed "between" cycles and so missed triggering statement. The store manager accepted my payment and removed the late fee. Now it has happened again. Kohls, this is a bad business practice. It isn't a new practice, Citibank perfected it. Then the Attorney General made it too expensive for Citi to continue. Now it's Kohls turn.
