Credit Scoring Method Used is Unreliable Internet

I am writing to report that the credit score "model" used by Zendough is useless. I have been a member of Zendough for many months, possibly longer than a year. I used it regulary to monitor my credit and felt encouraged when my score rose from the low - middle 500s to the low 600s, despite a repossessions at the end of 2011.

As a result, I went to a dealership to trade in our vehicle after calling there. I told them that my score was in the low 600s, and they said that they could get financing without a problem, even with a reposession.

When the car dealership pulled our score, I was shocked to learn that our score was 490. I felt embarrassed and angry that I had wasted my time. So, I called Zendough to cancel my membership and demand a refund of what I had paid.

A representative answerwed the call, and politely agreed to cancel my membership after claiming that the site was not misleading. He explained that Zendough uses a "Vantage" scoring model, which has higher ranges than other scoring models. The problem is that there is nothing on the site that clearly and boldly explains that there are different scoring models and offer to calculate the score under the various models. I have learned that most lenders prefer to ue the "FICO" scoring method.

When I reiterated that I wanted a full refund, the representative said that he needed to transfer me to the home office. When he did so, I was disconnected and received no return call.

Do not use this site, as you will not be able to acurately interpret the score that Zendough reports. Worst of all, a reporting agency owns the site - TransUnion.
