Following a relatively optimistic start it became apparent that Citi mort simply doesnt wish to assist my refinance initiatives. I had been attempting to have my house refinanced to some lower-rate underneath the HARP plan. Our price at this time is 5.75%- I had been wishing to obtain anything atleast near to existing prices. I've financing to price within 2%... I've a credit rating of 820 along with a work using the same company nearly ten years, though its within the building area and so Iam significantly under-employed and created just $29 e this past year.
They provided me an interest rate of 4.75%, higher than todays going prices. As a result of this higher rate I couldnt qualify provided my present revenue (which wouldnt actually be a problem under this HARP plan except that since the fresh mortgage might increase my payment-about $100 per month which provides my revenue in to the image, hence the denial-of the refi) I requested them to please reduce this price sufficient and so I might qualify, plus they decline! Bastards - I really hope each goes out-of company, oh thats right, their too large to crash! Since they have been settled tax-payer cash for the mortgages...
