Berthel Fisher & Company Andrew called to make a pitch for an investment in a company that went bankrupt 3 months after his encouragement to invest

Andrew Mayer claims to be an investor working for Berthel Fisher & Co, a Financial Services firm. He called me to earn my confidence as an investment broker. He strongly recommended Eastman Kodak, a firm that I was very skeptical about but he claimed to know that it would do well and that this would help him to earn my trust and confidence. Three months later the firm filed for bankruptcy. Is this any way to earn the confidence of a new client?

When I called him on it, he got hostile and said that this is what happens, sometime stocks go up and sometimes they go down. We all understand this, however, Andrews strong arm pitch sounded so confident that it seemed to be a sure bet. Buyer Beware. This guy does not deserve your business. If he calls you - just hang up! He talks fast, shares lots of facts but in retrospect does not have a real grasp on what is happening in the marketplace.
