GE Money is designed to rip you off and scam you out of your money. I live on social security and only get paid once a month. Due to their billing cycle I was late one time because of when my ss check was posted to my account, which is the 2 Wednesday of every month amd its takes my bank four or five day to process my payment was late so they charged me a late fee of 35.00 plus interest of 14.67. I sent them in the following payment a check for the amount due which was 99.00 to catch up but they didn't say any thing about any additional payments. I called them and had them move my payment dur date to the 20th of the month and on the next payment I sent them a check before I received my payment in the mail for 70.00 which my normal payment is around 69 and some change.
On my next payment I received in the mail they said I owed them 99.00. I called again and they said I was charged another late fee because I didn't make my full payment of 99.00. I told them I have made my payment on time. They said no you only paid 70.00. I was getting pissed by this time. I ask them how much it would take to get caught up and they told me 99.00 so I sent in my payment in plenty of time. I just got my payment for March and it said I owed 99.00 again. I called them again on the phone and asked them to explain. They told me that I owed them 99.00 and if I wanted my payments to go back to my orginal amount of 60.00 that I would have to pay them 99.00 plus another 99.00 in late fees and interests. This is a total RIP OFF. What ever you do Don't use GE Money ever. You will reget it I promise.
