I worked for Capital One for over 6 years (they pay well) and do some the most dishonest things. 1. The tell you that your accounts are automatically reviewed for credit limit increases, I don't know how, because as an employee we didn't. That is what we were told to say. Chances are your not going to get one. 2. They did a test a few months (Mar - Apr 04) ago about there cappay fee to where you would be charged for the first pay-by-phone of $14.95 and for every payment thereafter would be charges $10.00. They say they treat every body fairly in this case these people who chose to do this or be late with payments were over charged because you had spoke with a certain associate. There were approx 15-17 that were over charging people. If had hung-up and called back the fee would have been $10.00 for first payment and all other payment would have been free.
The company does a shift bid about every 6 months or so and depending where you rank you might get he perfect shift or a lousy one. But I chose a shift that best fit my days off I needed because I take care of my kids a couple days during the week and they will not work with you on your schedule unless you are in your final year of college. We had a team meeting in April 04 and our manager told us when he took over our team he was asked by his upper managers for a list of people he was going to manage out of the company. As you can see I am a former employee.
