I was forced into escrow and Ocwen paid my taxes even though I had already paid them. Then raised my payment by $800.00 a month, the refuse to take me off escrow and get their money refunded even afer many letters and faxes. I have tried 4 times to get a modification all refused untill they sent me an offer that added my now negative escrow to the principal and included future taxes so it could accrue interest and increasing the principal by $8000, lowered my intrest rate 0.5%, lowerd my payment by $200 a month and added a ballon payment at the end. They actually expected me to sign this!
Well now they have institued the terms of this farce modification on my statement even though I have not signed or agreed to any of it. I must assume that the plan is to get me to pay out my loan and then at the end stick me with a $20,000 ballon note and foreclose on it then.
