Ocwen loan services represents Deutsche Bank, a German company. We have been trying for a long time to get a modification from them with no luck what so ever. After many lies, they finally admitted that the bank refuses to modify because they are not American, thus do not have adhere to American rules, regulations, or laws.
While we were trying to get help (2 law firms and $7,000), unknown to us, they put our house up for auction and were the only bidders so they then re - acquired our house. Luckily someone in the sheriff's dept tipped us off and we were just able to file bankruptcy to halt the sale.
Our lawyers continued to fight for modification, but finally had to admit defeat. We sent $2,000 to ocwen to try to start payments again, but they sent it back. I called but was given a number to call that was wrong, and the original number now always goes straight to voice mail.
We don't know why they wont deal on this old house, but after 7 years and many payments we have established a home and put down roots, but we're running out of options. Ocwen is an anti-American rip off!
