Niether space nor decency permit me to describe how amoral, vile, and disgusting BNY Mellon is. Their so called customer service is an affront to the word. They returned a good check without notifying us and took 3 weeks to do it, just after we had sent a check to a doctors office. They said it was too much for the prior year, so why was it nto applied to the next year? Or an e-mail sent? A letter in a timely fashion? We caught it before the check went thorugh, and made every effort to be sure that there were funds there.

No, they couldn't take a check over the phone. Nor credit card. Nor wire. Even then we got them the mooney in 24 hours. They day they received the money the slapped and NSF fee on us and returned the check. Even after repeated attempt to get the charge reversed they still did not answer my questions. If Blue Cross really knew what was going on and / or cared they woudl dump BNY Mellon in a heartbeat.

If they are so small as to cheat their customers in this manner, I cannot imagine what else they are capable of. After reading the other complaints it is apparent this is not the first time. If I can find a way to sever our relationship permanently, I will. Customer service? None. Asking for a manager? Someone came to the phone, but they just read from the play book, same as the other peons. It seems that all of the responisibility is the customers, because there certainly is none at Mellon. If you have a choice, take your business somewhere else.
