Halliburton/Mellon Bank
Halliburton, Sent Check without Explanation

I got a check from a Halliburton in Pittsburgh, PA for $959.00 delivered by UPS. It was issued on a Mellon Bank. There was nothing else inside the envelope or an explanation for the check.

I searched the Web to find out if this was valid. During my search, I read a review on the Mellon site that a person received a similiar check. I saw Ripoff's site and read where the p.O. Box number was used by 2 other invalid vendors.

The address on the outside of the UPS envelope was different from the check.
My advice is to research before you cash!
