I have been trying to get the proceeds of my HSA accout for a month from BNY Mellon Bank. The only phone number they give you is to a call center in the Phillipines. I requested checks so I could write myself a check to get the funds. I was told it take 7-10 days to recieve them. After 10 days I called again and was told it would take 7-10 days "after" the checks were mailed. It has now been 14 days since the checks were supposedly mailed. I called today and was told the only thing they could do is start the whole proceess over again. Unless the checks were lost in the mail, I seriously doubt they were ever mailed. These girls in the Phillipines couldn't care less. What really peeves me is that I requested funds from a previous HSA bank and recieved the funds in less than 7 days without fees which Mellon has already deducted from my account but has not sent me the money. I don't know if I will ever get my money back since there seems to be no other way to contact them about HSA accounts. I tried calling HQ in Mass but was given the same 877 number.
