Midland Mortgage
A division of MidFirst Bank Falsified my account, in their favor, to make it a "delinquent" account

Midland Mortgage intentionally put my account into a "delinquent" status and would not correct their mistake even after I made numerous phone calls and sent numerous emails to the vice -president of customer service, proving to them they were wrong and requesting for them to correct my account.

CitiMortgage sold my impeccable account to Midland Mortgage in November. I mailed my payment, which is due the first of each month, to Midland Mortgage on December 27th. The check cleared my bank account on January 4th. On January 17th, Midland Mortgage called me to say I was delinquent on my account and they had not received my January payment. I informed them they had received my payment because my check had already cleared my bank account. I proceeded to tell the person my check # and the amount of the check and said I am looking at the front and back of the check and Midland Mortgage has already cashed my check, therefore, I am not delinquent and requested for my account to be corrected. They said it would. I called them back later in the same day to see if a different person could figure out what happened to my check. That person put me hold for over 10 minutes, during which time, I was on Midland Mortgage's website typing a long letter to the vice-president of customer service. After being on hold for 10 minutes or more, I hung up and called again. This time I got a male and I went through my whole ordeal, again, then he said he would submit a request to the department that could reverse the way my check was applied to my account, which is, they applied my entire January payment to principal, therefore, throwing my account into a delinquent status. He said it would take Midland Mortgage 48 - 72 hours to correct.

A week later, my account is still delinquent. I called again, this time I insisted on speaking with someone of higher authority. She said the reason why it didn't get corrected the first time was because the representative who submitted the request didn't word it correctly, therefore, the department the request was going to, didn't understand what he was requesting, nor did this department contact the representative's superior to ask about the request. They just let it go. I informed, Kim Glover, the person I was currently speaking with, that my account better be corrected in 24 hours after she tried telling me, once again like the other people there, that it would take 48 -72 hours to correct.

This company falsified my account and it was intentionally done. If they had looked at my history of payments, they would have seen my consistant time of payment and the amount I always pay each month. There was absolutely no reason for them to assume my January payment was to go to principle only. This company has inadequate people working there and don't know how to properly and accurately apply a payment to someone's account, and they have inadequate people who can't send a request worded correctly for corrections, or maybe it's because this department that all the corrections go to are too ridiculous and if it isn't worded "just right", then they choose not to follow up, investigate, or seek to find out the reason for the request.

They simply DO NOT CARE and as long as they can make sure they put a customer's account in a "delinquent" status, they are HAPPY! Don't do business with Midland Mortgage.
