Legal Successor of Hollywood Video Fraudulent Debt Collection

On 1-24 I received a collection notice from Universal Fidelity, LP of Houston Texas.

This notice advises that I am in debt to "Legal Successor of Hollywood Video" in the amount of $105.30 for videos rented from 1-30 through 4-18.

I called the phone number on the notice only to receive a voice response.

I do NOT owe Hollywood Video.
I have NEVER recieved any delinquent notice in the last 3 YEARS.

How many people will just PAY this?

This to ME is unbelieveable and I am frustrated beyond belief as my credit may be in jeopardy because someone has gotten ahold of Hollywood Video rentals and is now Billing through a collection agency fraudulent monies. It feels like Extortion and I can not prove I don't owe this.

Even if it were true... 3 years? Please... Even Crimes have a statute of Limitation

What can be done???
