Charles J. Read, Inc. And his subsidary companies are engaged in the business of providing payroll services to small businesses across the country. Mr. Read is engaged in the illegal business practice of classifying the majority of his sales department (affiliates) as 1099 labors, where in fact they are held to the same standards as a normal W-2 employee. Mr. Read has been engaged in this practice for several years and is cheating the government out of thousands in tax revenues.in addition, Mr. Read has set up several related companies which he uses to transfer client monies in such a way to avoid paying taxes. He has been engaged in tax fraud for several years and still today is misleading the IRS by not paying proper 941 employment taxes.

Has been issued warnings in the past yet continues to solicit business based on scare tactics and false claims. Anyone considering an "Affiliate" position with ths company should immediately reconsider, and look elsewhere for legitimate employment because Charles J. Read will look for and find a way NOT TO PAY TO FOR YOUR WORK!!!
