Charles J Read will give you a presentation saying "you own the clients" and "we are willing to buy the clients from you", but it's not true. I was not happy with the way they handled the services and decided to bring my payroll clients in-house slowly. Upon hearing that, they terminated the agreement right away, sent a letter to all my clients letting them know they are to call CJR directly going forward and not to speak with me. I was able to get many clients to still move over with me, but many were confused by what happened and decided to stay. CJR kept 100% of the revenue and never paid me a penny once they terminated the contract.
They also didn't tell me I had to pay the draw back until six months after I had been there and started expecting my income to grow. They said I was their top rep but even after a year I didn't come close to the "average" results they promised.
Stay far away from CJR... They are only in business for themselves and are using the affiliates to build their own pipeline and client base.
