Warning, if you live in the San Diego county area and you are looking to get your taxes prepared do not use Julie Timmes, owner of U.S. Business Services. Her incompetence and unprofessionalism has resulted in 4 straight years of audits by the IRS. Julie Timmes is not a Certified Public Accountant and is not capable of completing your taxes with accuracy.
Julie Timmes, owner of U.S. Business Services, lack of professionalism was clear when you stopped answering any and all phone calls and instead responded only through emails. Every time we requested a meeting with her to discuss our audit that the IRS was conducting due to her incorrect filings she stated she was sick, out of town, or had something to do.
Julies Timmes's incompetence stemmed from her inability to use modern tools and software. Her files and her monthly P & L (profit and loss statments) looked like a 3rd grader completed them. With the use of Quickbooks, online reporting, and many other tools at the disposal certified tax professionals, if you want your books to be prepared professionallly do not use U.S. Business Services.
After filing our taxes, getting flagged for audit, and then being scheduled for the appeals Julie Timmes could not meet with the IRS as she agreed to do on the specific date of the 29th of December. Per the request of U.S. Business Services and Julie Timmes we rescheduled for 1/4. With only 3 business days before the appeal Julie Timmes sent a letter saying she was going on vacation and would no longer perform her job. This left us to fend for ourselves against the IRS with no documentation (she had it in her possession).
Do not use Julie Timmes or U.S. Business Services to prepare your taxes if you want them done correctly or if you want to be treated in a professional manner.
