I just recently received a bill for a credit card from First Premier Bank, but have not received the card. When I called First Premier, they said it was due to a problem with my mailing address (a PO Box). When I told them they didn't have any problems getting my bill sent to the right place, they told me not to worry and that I should go ahead and pay my bill to avoid late fees.
I reluctently did so and still have not received my card. Now it was bad enough to receive a bill that showed that I only had an available balnce of $72 because of undisclosed fees, but to billed for a credit card that I don't even have is even worse. I am planning on paying off the balance on the account and then canceling the account. I wish that I had only found this site before I applied for my card. I guess that this is a live and learn situation.
If anyone else has any advice I would welcome it.
