Deferred Interest Charge

I bought several items including a 42' TV at the zero percent for 24 months offer which totaled to approximately1800$. When I was ready to pay off the full amount, the near 1000$ intertest charge was added to my account. The deferred interest charge was not provided in any verbal or written communication as a warning of any type in any communication and what is worse was deliberately hidden by the HSBC customer service when directly asked during the introductory period. I call for an amendment to the State and Federal Law to make such practices completely illegal. At the very least, such finance structure should be made accessible and easy to understand prior to contract engagement or during the introductory period.
