Encore is the biggest crock of - I have ever seen. A rep contacted me and said that I had applied for something with one of their affiliates and that I was approved for their offer. I asked some questions and before she finished answering my questions she asked for my account #. That was a RED FLAG for me. I told her I wouldn't give her that info and that I would need to check some things out first. She assured me (well at least tried to), that all I have to do is put a flag on my bank account so that only the $169.95 comes out. Told her I was busy to give me a call back later. She said, "if your not going to do it, let me know and I won't waste anymore of our time.", which was fine with me.
I started to think about it over the weekend and gave them a call back on monday to get more info, including their exact location so that I could do some research. The BBB said that they had one incident which had been resolved, so I called back, and the rep told me they would have to give me a call back. Since I had told her that I was going to do some research on them and that I had been scammed before, they never called me back. It was thanks to a web address that was provided on the BBB report that sent me to the Usa Consumer Complaints.com. I am so glad that I did not fall for it. I was a hair away from giving them my account #.
