On Sept 28 we did apply for a online loan which is how they must have got our information, and we did accept an online loan from a company called Loan Star and every week Loan Star deducts their payment out and the bank account reads Loan Star with the loan number and phone number.
Today Oct 14 I got a Insufficient Funds Change letter my bank regarding a one time payment of $30 and on the company name info it only has 877-786-4120. So I contacted my bank to dispute the charges, because since I didn't have the money available the bank charged me $38.00. While on hold with the bank I just typed in the phone number into yahoo and came up with a website of people saying this company had charged their account $30.00. This list had 100's of names of people who had money taking out of their account without permission. Tomorrow I have to take to take time out of my day and go to the bank to dispute these charges.
I am outraged over this and want to do anything and everything that I can to stop these, so please tell me everything that I can do to STOP these people. If I am borrowing money from a pay day loan company and do not talk to these people or get money from these people I do not expect to pay them back for nothing, and I can not afford to just go around paying people $30.in my case they didn't get the money will they try to take it again.
I am going to the bank tomorrow but what else can I do, they did cost me $38.00 and my time to fight this but when your as broke as I am I will fight over $38 or $30. This cannot be legal.
