PNC will not reimburse me for my fraudulent charge - PNC Checking

At first, I was a huge fan of PNC and advidly endorsed their personal banking. I signed up at work to get my checks directly deposited to my new PNC checking account a few years ago. I was so satisfied with customer service that I even decided to open a savings account with them. Then recently that changed. I had a fraudulent charge take place back in October at a Target in Los Angeles, CA. I was never in CA or anywhere in that vacinity at the time of purchase (I've lived on the East coast my entire life). I received a call immediately from their fraudulent charge department. I submitted a claim, canceled my check card, and was given "paperwork". The form was very basic and there was not much to fill out, but I filled out what I could and got it faxed at a local PNC. On multiple occasions the provisional credit they had given me was REVERSED (without recieving a notice that this occured). This is where the run around starts... I would call back or go into a local branch and explain that I already provided the paperwork... Then they said they needed more documentation. So, I wrote an email to a third party company they were using and explained "I was never in California at the time of purchase" - which the representative told me was enough documentation to resolve the issue.in multiple instances with multiple PNC reps I was mislead into thinking the issue was resolved, but every now and then I would check my checking account (which I rarely do) and would see the provisional credit reversed. I NEVER recieved any notice that my claim was denied, yet they refuse to reimburse me for my fraudulent charge because it is now past the window of opportunity. If I received a letter stating it was denied, I would have contacted them sooner, but I didn't even realize it was denied until I looked closely at my bank statement and saw the provisional credit! It is getting to the point that my time and effort is not worth the money that was fraudulently taken from me! I plan on taking my personal banking elsewhere now that they have left me extremely unsatisfied and I will continue to spread word of my horrible experience with PNC bank.
