I applied for a credit card on line for my 18 year old daughter, thinking this would be good for her when she starts college. Stupid thing to do but I was very sick at the time. It was suppose to be an AmeriOneCard MasterCard (after they withdraw out of my daughter checking account $299.00 dollars on January 6) The only thing she got was a package with various papers to help with credit report, legal assistance.
The name of the book is called "Your Search For A Brighter Future Starts Here" I called these people at the Financial Benefit which I got from her bank statement because the other numbers were not working at 1-888-898-7135; 1-866-270-7076 and ask about my daughters' credit card, one person told me that a letter will come to her address within one week after she received her package for her to sign because they needed a signature page. Still nothing I called again and they apologized and said the Bank is a little slow wait another week or two, still nothing.
I called last week April 5 and they told me it was because of the Holiday. I called them back on Tuesday April 13th and a lady told me that the letter my daughter was suppose to sign should be in the package and I told her that a letter was not in this package, than she told me to take out the CD Rom which by the way is called "The Credit Booster" and I could apply for a credit card through this (which was going to cost me more money).
I told this lady that I did not need to reapply for another credit card, that I was waiting for the one they were suppose to send my daughter, NOT A BOOK and to give me my money back. I went on to tell her that if she did not send me this card I would write the Federal Center or call 7-on your side they told me I only had 14 days to return the book so I do not get a refund.
