I found out about this capfundonline.com by an internet search since I was looking for a home. This guy name Michael Seligman called me in late May and asked me what my credit score was and other typical questions dealing with the process of buying a home.
My credit was good enough to get approved for a home loan and we proceeded to go through the process. I received my pre-approval letter from him in June and I began house shopping. I found the house I wanted to purchase around June 10. My offer was accepted and the closing date was set for July 14.
So, the week of July my real estate agent or the title company don't hear anything from this guy. July 14 comes and he calls and was like I'm sorry our system shut down or crashed. Okay understandable, things happen. My real estate agent then sets the next closing date at August 1. August comes and we still don't close. At this point Michael doesn't even return my or my real estate agent's emails.
Then all of a sudden Michael emails me and says. "I finally got the letter of approval from the bank." This is around August 11. After I sign some additional paperwork he says we should be able to close August 16 or 17. Now it's August 31 and I haven't heard anything from this guy since August 16. My real estate agent and I have tried numerous times to contact him to no avail. My real estate agent has over 25 years of experience and he has stated that this guy is the worst loan officer he has ever encountered.
